Epic week, huge sleepover bash

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry I didn't write for so long but it has been a crazy week. Starting Tuesday two of my best friends came to my place for a sleepover, we stayed up until 3 AM, then went to sleep. I woke up at 7 and tried to get them out of bed for 4 hours, finally around 11 we had an epic pillow fight and got up. Around noon we went to the cinema for Mortdecai (really recommend it), then we proceeded to one of my friends houses and played board games, watched movies and talked till 4 AM. We got up at 12, went for an hours bike ride in the forest (cold but refreshing) and after that we parted ways.

Movies watched

"Divergent"
"Mortdecai"
"Crazy Stupid Love"
"The Perks of Being a Wallflower"
"Breaking Dawn" (more for fun than anything else)

Games played

Twister
Monopoly City
Monopoly Deal
Farmer
Pictionary
Fox games

Yesterday my best friend I've known since preschool came for the day we played some more, did a photo shoot, spammed on Snapchat and in the evening we went to the theatre.

It was a very busy week, I hope you all had a wonderful time, my winter break finishes in 2 days, that is so sad!!!

Inspiring toys...?

Hi everyone!

I was recently experimenting with my old toys and I stumbled upon Pet Shops. Some of them are actually super cute. I took the photos, but they looked a bit bleak, so I added some cute quotes...

I'm thinking of doing some more photos with quotes as soon as I get some ideas.

Relaxing countryside

Hi everybody!

I spent the last few days at my grandparents in the countryside and it was so calm and quiet there. The air was pollution clean and I was awoken by a rooster (kind of a cliche, am I right?).

At their place I have my room with a fairytale bed, which I adore. Then in the morning walking down the wooden stairs to be greeted by their dog. Getting a hot cup of tea and going out of the veranda to find little birds flying around waking everyone up. I love it out there. I encourage all of you to try and spend some time in the countryside ( I'm during my winter break now so I've got a lot of free time).

Power of photographs

Hi guys!

Photographs can tell stories even better than words. They can be so emotional that you will understand them without any explanation as to who is in the picture.

Photographs have a unique ability to move us and drive us to take action - Joan Gage

A girl waiting for someone from her family to come back

No one is coming...

So she decides to find them herself

I really love to take photographs and encourage you to do the same. It's a way to express yourself.

Graffiti

Hello everyone!
Sorry I didn't write anything yesterday, but I had stomach flu and felt like crap. Anyway I'm over it now so let's get down to the topic of the day - graffiti.

Graffiti is writing or drawings that have been scribbled, scratched, or sprayed illicitly on a wall or other surface, often in a public place. Graffiti ranges from simple written words to elaborate wall paintings, and it has existed since ancient times, with examples dating back to Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, and the Roman Empire.

Crummy Gummy

One of the most famous anonymous graffiti artists is Banksy.

Banksy is one of the world's most notorious and popular street artists who continues to remain faceless in today's society. He is known for his political, anti-war stencil art mainly in Bristol, England, but his work may be seen anywhere from Los Angeles to Palestine. In the UK, Banksy is the most recognizable icon for this cultural artistic movement and keeps his identity a secret to avoid arrest. Much of Banksy's artwork may be seen around the streets of London and surrounding suburbs, although he has painted pictures throughout the world, including the Middle East, where he has painted on Israel's controversial West Bank barrier with satirical images of life on the other side. One depicted a hole in the wall with an idyllic beach, while another shows a mountain landscape on the other side. A number of exhibitions also have taken place since 2000, and recent works of art have fetched vast sums of money. Banksy's art is a prime example of the classic controversy: vandalism vs. art. Art supporters endorse his work distributed in urban areas as pieces of art and some councils, such as Bristol and Islington, have officially protected them, while officials fof other areas have deemed his work to be vandalism and have removed it.

Lucky Stars

Hi everyone!
Second day into the New Year and I've already got a big achievement behind me...I've made my first lucky star. Ok, I know it sounds lame but I have been trying for the last 2 years and I never managed it before. Yesterday at 10 pm I sat down and decided to try again and voila.

For those who have actually no idea what is a lucky star, let me explain. It's a little paper "origami" very easy to make. You can make them different colors or make them into a wish by writing something on them. They are really cute and can be used as a decoration or gift.

Long time ago in Japan, there was a little girl named Hoshi who was fascinated by the stars of the sky. She was absolutely in awe of them and would lie on the grass at night and stare at them for hours, wondering how the little bright specks of light can stay in the air for so long.
One night while watching the stars, something happened in the sky that made her sad and she began to cry. The stars were falling out of heaven like a shower. So many of them were falling that she was afraid there would be no more.
Suddenly she had an idea. Hoshi ran home and came back with a jar and some paper, and she sat down to watch the stars again. For every star that fell, Hoshi made a paper star and placed it in the jar. That night, she made one hundred stars. However, she was still sad because many more fell from the sky and she wasn't able to fold them all.
The next night, there were only a few stars in the sky. Hoshi was worried, but she had just one more idea. She ran and knocked on all the doors in the village and told all the little boys and girls to come out. She explained to them what was happening and they all wanted to help. That night they made two thousand stars and every kid placed their own stars in their own jar.
And then something magical happened. More stars began to appear in the sky and all the little boys and girls were happy. Hoshi spoke and said, "These stars are lucky because of us. From now on, these paper stars will be called lucky stars." Hoshi then looked up at the sky and said, "Whenever a lucky star is made, a falling star is saved."
The little boys and girls have all grown up now and to this day, still make lucky stars and place them in a jar. Although they have brought luck to the falling stars, some say that the stars have brought luck to them.
"Whenever a lucky star is made, a falling star is saved."
